Announcement of microarray service using Illumina platform*
We offer the full service from tissues** to microarray data at $300.00 per sample***
Our service includes 1) extract total RNA; 2) purification of the total RNA; 3) analysis of the quality and quantity of total RNA (inform users if there is a problem at no addition cost); 4) cDNA synthesis, cDNA purification, QC of cRNA synthesis, cRNA purification, hybridization, wash, staining, and scanning of slides; and 5) upload raw data of scanning to our server for users to download.
Users need to provide enough tissues about 10mg-1000mg, depending on tissue types (or at least 1000ng of total RNA, at a minimum concentration of 30ng/ul, preferable concentration
>
50ng/ul. We will purify the RNA and recheck the RNA's quality and quantity. If your RNA is degraded or otherwise unsuitable for application to an array, we will notify you immediately).
We also offer post-microarray service
We also offer the post-microarray service at a cost of $30 per sample. The post-microarray service includes: 1) list of up/ down-regulated genes with 1, 2 or 3 fold changes upon request. The up/down-regulated genes will be listed separately decently on spreadsheets with known information about every gene; 2) cluster analysis or pathway analysis of gene expression data (limited to 8) upon request.
Costs for alternative service
If users provide chips, the charge will be $145 per sample. If users provide both chips and reagents, the charge will be $120.

Notes
*Price is based on current mouse expression chips of whole genome from Illumina. It may vary based on price of types of chips and the prices. Please contact us if you want to use Affymetrix platform.
**We do not recommend users to provide RNA or to purify RNA. If users do RNA extraction, purification, and provide information on qualification and quantification, the charge will be $290. In this case, users need to provide evidence of RNA quality and quantity. More importantly, we will not be responsible for the failure because of the problem of RNA. If users provide chips, reagents, and data of RNA quality and quantity measurements, the charge will be $110 per sample.
*** Please contact us if you have a large number of samples.
